About Us

Hope & Support Group

Lesley Gomez and Maryanne VanAken are Co-founders of the Woodbury Bethlehem Parent Connection. This group offers hope and support for those parents who are trying to cope with their children who are addicted to alcohol/drugs, are in recovery, or those who have experienced loss. Lesley suffered the loss of her daughter, Cristina, in August 2007 from a drug related car accident.

The Woodbury Bethlehem Parent Connection was established in 2008 and has assisted many families with coping and setting boundaries for parents/caregivers living with the chaos of addiction.

Addiction knows no boundaries - it touches people regardless of gender, age, class, race, ethnicity or geographical region.

We are not affiliated with any counseling agencies, AA, or religious sects.

The Hope & Support group meets weekly on Mondays 7:30 - 9:00 pm.

New Young People's AA Meeting meets weekly on Saturdays 7:30 - 8:30 pm.
